EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive Statement:
The European Union (EU), Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive (Directive 2012/19/EU) affects end-of-life recycling for all electrical and electronic equipment. Specialty Manufacturing complies with the legislation implementing the WEEE Directive, which varies country by country, and in so far as it has a legal obligation to pay for and arrange the treatment, recycling, recovery and environmentally sound disposal of products which have been designated as WEEE in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions of sale and country specific legislation.
