Position: Lead Assembler
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Location: The Specialty Mfg. Co. – White Bear Lake, MN
Position Description:
The Lead Assembler is responsible for organizing the production schedule in order to maintain quality, productivity, and safety goals.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour / DOQ

Duties and Responsibilities: (Not limited to the following)
- Review Work Orders for special instructions
- Verify components specified on Work Order are available
- Set up Work Order specific jigs and tooling
- Monitor in process quality and notify supervisor of non-conforming parts
- Coach assemblers in the correct methods and procedures required to effectively and efficiently perform their job
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Hand eye coordination to assemble quality parts
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years or more in warehouse environment
