15 days of Paid Time Off (increases based on years of service)

401(k) Profit Sharing Plan
SMC has a discretionary contribution up to 25% of an employee’s annual salary in their 401(k)
SMC has a history of consistently contributing between 20% and 25%
An employee making $13 an hour would be eligible for a contribution up to $6,760 annually
An employee making $20 an hour would be eligible for a contribution up to $10,400 annually
An employee making $25 an hour would be eligible for a contribution up to $13,000 annually
Wage Continuation Plan (Short Term Disability)
No cost to employee (paid for by SMC)
Covers 60% of lost wages after a 10-day waiting period (waiting period waived for maternity)
12 weeks of paid disability benefits available annually
Long Term Disability Insurance
No cost to employee (paid for by SMC)
Covers 60% of lost wages after 90-days of continuous disability
Life and AD&D Insurance
Employee, spouse, and dependent coverage available at no cost to the employee (paid for by SMC)
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
Employees are eligible to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible Medical and Dependent Care expenses
Guidelines are established by the IRS and govern all eligibility requirements, which change yearly
Paid Day Off for Annual Physical
Employees are awarded a full day off with pay to attend their annual physical.
Tuition Assistance & Educational Reimbursement
SMC offers Tuition Assistance & Educational Reimbursement to all employees with over one year of service
Steel Toe and Safety Glasses Reimbursement
SMC will reimburse employee purchases for safety glasses and steel toed shoes who work in designated areas
