Design Considerations

The 489 Series Needle Valve compact design promotes multiple configurations to fit the exact end use application. The 489 Series Right-Angle Needle Valve is rated to 500 psi. The standard 489 Series has a Brass Needle, an o-ring stem seal and a Red Filled-Polyester Knob. The Stainless Needle and Black Knob are optional. The panel mount requires a .500 hole and is supplied with one brass Hex nut. UL configurations are available and rated to 250 psi. The maximum panel thickness is .175.
