Design Considerations

The 004 Series Plug Valve incorporates a one piece Brass Body and O-Ring Face Seal Plug design to cover one-way high pressure or vacuum applications. The plug is sealed on the top and bottom by radial O-Rings. A Bleed Path on the downstream side vents pressure out of the plug cavity when the valve is in the full closed position.
